The Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center’s 2024 Cohen Family Upstander Month celebrates Cincinnati as a place where upstanders shine. This special month is dedicated to uplifting the changemakers in our community who embody the spirit of standing up for what’s right.

Join us for a month filled with museum activations, engaging digital programs, and signature events that honor the resilience and courage of those who make a difference. Experience the powerful stories of upstanders and learn how you can be a part of this inspiring movement.

Upstander Awards

JUNE 2, 2024 6 P.M.

Join us for the 2024 Upstander Awards, with Celebrity Host Debra Messing, to recognize individuals in the region who use their character strengths to make a difference in the community. Enjoy a gala-style event in historic Union Terminal’s breath-taking rotunda featuring a three-course meal, music, art experiences, and a moving awards ceremony celebrating Cincinnati’s best and brightest upstanders. Festive formal attire. Valet included in ticket price.

Upstander 5k

JUNE 30, 2024 8:30 A.M.

Shine like an upstander at the Fleet Feet Upstander 5K, which takes runners and walkers on a scenic route throughout the West End and Price Hill. Registrants receive a t-shirt, iconic Union Terminal race medal, free admission to museums, and other swag. Enjoy live music, family activities throughout all museums, breakfast, giveaways, art activations, and a pickleball tournament outside of Union Terminal. Don't miss out!

MUSEUM MINDFULNESS YOGA

JUNE 18, 2024 6 P.M. - 8 P.M.

Join us for Museum Mindfulness, a yoga event in the iconic rotunda of Union Terminal. Enjoy a relaxing yoga session, followed by drinks, appetizers, and insightful conversations with mindfulness experts. Learn how to tap into the science of well-being to become your best self and discover your character strengths as an upstander. Bring your own mat. All participants required to sign a waiver at registration prior to participation.
