The Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center is located in Cincinnati’s historic Union Terminal, where many Holocaust survivors arrived by train to rebuild their lives. Immerse yourself in a learning environment that reveals stories of Holocaust survivors through carefully curated artifacts, rare documents, interactive survivor testimonies, and poignant films.
This interactive and transformative learning experience will challenge your perspective and touch your heart and mind. Your educational journey begins the moment you walk through the doors with documents that waft down the stairs and into the lobby. Witness the strength and courage of the human spirit during one of the darkest chapters of history.
As you begin to embark on this narrative experience, explore genuine, one-of-a-kind historic artifacts. All pieces are from our own private collection or on loan from individuals who lived the history. Visit often to engage with a variety of artifacts on rotation, including a U.S. Army “Eisenhower jacket” and a wedding dress worn by Holocaust survivor Margaret Friedmann in 1939.
Interact with eye witnesses, survivors, and liberators in one-on-one conversation. High-definition holographic interview recordings pair with voice recognition technology to enable responses to questions asked in real-time. Personal testimonies located at video kiosks throughout the exhibition tell heart-breaking experiences of hatred, persecution, perseverance, love, and rescue.
Learn from the resilience of the human spirit. Be inspired to make your mark as an upstander. Plan your visit to the Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center today.
