What:
The Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center invites media to an exclusive preview of its groundbreaking Dimensions in Testimony exhibit, now featuring local Holocaust survivor testimonies, alongside the launch of free general public admission for the month of January as part of The Anita & Hank Schneider Family Holocaust Remembrance Month.

This cutting-edge exhibit uses artificial intelligence to allow visitors to engage in interactive, real-time conversations with life-sized digital representations of Holocaust survivors. Media attendees will have the opportunity to:

  • Experience the innovative exhibit, which preserves survivor stories using advanced AI and natural language processing.
  • Interview Holocaust survivor Dr. Henry Fenichel, whose testimony is featured in the exhibit.
  • Speak with museum leadership about the significance of the Dimensions in Testimony initiative and the impact of free admission on community engagement.

When:
10 a.m., January 2, 2025

Where:
Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center
Union Terminal, Cincinnati, OH

Why:
This exclusive media event showcases the powerful integration of local Holocaust survivor testimonies into one of the most advanced virtual intelligence exhibits in the world. Visitors can now engage with the stories of Cincinnati survivors like Dr. Henry Fenichel in an unprecedented way.

The launch coincides with The Anita & Hank Schneider Family Holocaust Remembrance Month, an initiative providing free general public admission to the museum throughout January thanks to an endowed gift from the Schneider family. This initiative honors United Nations International Holocaust Remembrance Day and the Center’s mission to combat Holocaust denial and antisemitism.

The Dimensions in Testimony exhibit is an initiative of USC Shoah Foundation, with local testimony support from Bob and Lori Fregolle and the Jewish Foundation of Cincinnati. The exhibit is sponsored by the Harold C. Schott Foundation.
