Cincinnati, OH — The Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of its search for a new Chief Operating Officer.

Christine Perme, CPA, MBA, has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer following a rigorous selection process conducted in partnership with Centennial Executive Search. Perme will take over the role effective September 30.

“We are thrilled to welcome Christine Perme as our new Chief Operating Officer,” said Jackie Congedo, Chief Executive Officer of the Center. “Her proven track record in operational excellence, strategic planning, and team leadership will be instrumental in streamlining our processes and maximizing our organizational efficiency. Christine’s ability to translate vision into actionable strategies aligns perfectly with our goals for growth and impact. I am confident that her expertise in financial management, program optimization, and cross-functional collaboration will elevate our entire operation, allowing us to serve our mission more effectively than ever before.”

Perme brings more than 30 years of exemplary experience in both for-profit and non-profit sectors, with a skill set that aligns perfectly with our strategic needs, including leadership roles at the Episcopal Diocese of Southern Ohio and Cincinnati Nature Center, equipping her with a deep understanding of the nonprofit sector’s unique challenges and opportunities. As a CPA with an MBA, she possesses the financial expertise essential for overseeing the Center’s operations, while her proven track record in streamlining processes and leading high-performing teams will foster a culture of collaboration and excellence. Additionally, her background in technology implementation and facility management aligns well with the Center’s strategic goals.

Perme’s appointment comes at a pivotal time of growth for the Center. With a bold vision to become one of the most relevant and engaging Holocaust museums globally, the Center aims to transform its educational offerings while making a significant local impact. Recent initiatives have led to record-high museum attendance and national recognition for innovative approaches to combating antisemitism and promoting civic engagement.

As the Center continues to foster meaningful connections and collaborations, it remains committed to ensuring that the lessons of the Holocaust resonate powerfully in today’s society, addressing complex challenges through education and community engagement.

The Center is located inside historic Union Terminal, and the museum is open to the public Thursdays through Mondays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
